  1. Reproduction steps:
    No reproduction rn; I had three times in the last irl days - or more specific: since I can enter the "new" forest area with the trunks above the B.O.S. hide. After chopping the wood, doing some mine-stuff and selling the ore, the crash can happen. But I wasn't able to reproduce the things. Usually it work's fine at the rerun. But I didn't reproduce the day step by step ...

I'm playing on keyboard. And the crash happened while my game tried to save and jump to the next day. The didn't work and the game crashed after this :/ I thought being longer on the selling list caused the problem, but the selling side don't caused it I think.

It happened always at the saving, yes.
I guess the crash happened mostly when I chopped the wood for hard wood in the forest at this day. Since I avoid this space my game is working really fine. Sometimes I didn't see the item pattern on the ground; the tree trunk lagged a few pixel deep into the grass. Maybe this can caused the problems? I read something about bugging fences which caused some crashes. This could be a connection?
Collecting some ores and selling them is kinda a daily task for me and this is safe to do.

Had the same issue. But doesn't appear to be the same reasons. I've crashed on ending day twice.

1st time: had just used architect desk, moved the coop, barn, and stable. Reorganized farm, went to bed and crashed. I didn't leave the farm all day

2nd time: I was waiting for a machine to finish, was 11:50pm when I got to bed and it crashed. I was diving before that

hi, i've been having this crashing too. sometimes i can pass one or two days fine but then i get stuck on a day constantly crashing no matter what i do at the saving screen right before it saves that day's progress

I just tried to film and reproduce the problem. But no crash ofc...
But I can tell my crashes aren't the same like Obsidians theirs. I'm not stuck at one day.

auto h&f's might have been collecting some plants but them collecting things isn't the main cause of the crashing issue for me

i just tried to log in and pass the day without moving from the spot i spawned in at, which still caused a crash. i check every day or so to see if it'll let me sleep to the next day but the amount of times its been letting me pass days without crashing has lowerd to basically zero. but no huge changes to my farm were done in the time right before the crashes started and when the crashes started becoming more common.

on days i don't touch/open the auto chests the game crashes and same if i don't open them either

alright. i am pretty sure the reason for the crashes were all of my auto chests. i had a lot of them constantly working and now since all of them are gone my game is working perfectly

i think the amount either changes or there are other reasons for the crashes. since i had been on a 8day no crash streak and it got cut short even though no auto chests were placed during that day and the amount currently there hadn't crashed my game up until that point

when the game was crashing every day i had about 52 auto chests that were all connected to machines, mostly kegs and animal product ones. they were running most of the time. now i have 23, the majority being connected to animal product machines which mainly consist of mayo and cheese press. every day, they get fed with animal products and run for the whole day and either have animal products sitting in them or the artisan products. on a normal day in the game i interact with almost all of them. most of the autochests are inside sheds (21) while the other 2 are outside, if it matters.

in v0.5-205, i re placed all of the auto chests and the game is still crashing with the amount i originally had.

luckly its preventable but just wanted to let you know it still happens sometimes

update. after the recent update the amount of auto chests i had which wasn't enough to crash the game previously is now enough to crash the game

i removed all but one of the autochests and the game didn't crash when passing the day o'll stick to just one for a while

its so odd and inconsistent, when i get to a place where it doesn't crash i can play for hours. but when i come back the next day and change nothing, suddenly its no longer happy and crashes

np, im glad i can still play the game just by removing auto chests ^.^
