I was wondering what the processing time (in game) would be for essence? I read on the wiki that it's 6 hours in game time, but I'm only getting about 1 every other day.
I play on 50% game time speed if that affects anything.

That should be up to date though
Should be 1 hour now in game and your speed % doesn't change it

Was it longer in previous versions of the game? I stopped playing for a bit and reloaded an old save I had.

Yes! It used to be longer
Your machine is likely still processing what you originally put in & bc of that is stuck on its original replicate time
