Every time I try to go and collect hardwood from the forest the game freezes. It doesn't fully crash so I have to kill it in Task Manager. It does not freeze in the dig site, just the forest.
This is also only a recent problem, I believe from the Summer update. I am playing this via XBox Game Pass if that makes a difference.

Hello. I had ridden the horse up to the forest to chop hardwood. I can enter the forest but if I head up toward the top of the forest it freezes every time. The version is v0.5-69378.

@dreamy imp I went to get you some capture footage of the issue and for the first time in months it didn't freeze! It did drop frames a few times in the forest but I was able to navigate all the way through it.
