Steam version is more updated than the game pass (with probably 6 hotfixes ahead more than game pass version as far as I know). Also, beta is only available on steam version.

Like Maru said- the only difference is steam will always get the updates

thats annoying. thanks microsoft! if i transfer my file i see that there is corruption is that for the game entirly or just that one saved file?

I would says 97% of people who transfer files (regardless of when they do it) end up with a corrupt file within 2 weeks of the transfer and have to start over anyways

Right now, trying to transfer from game pass to steam is just like playing a Russian roulette.

I bought the steam version bcs I think it’s more worth it (had to redo a lot of it but its fine for the long run)

Thankfully I didn’t invest too much time in my Microsoft save that I was okay starting over on steam.
If I had to do it over I would have picked steam from the go.
