#Should i wait mermaid update to buy new animals ?

Hello !
I'm trying to find the best animal to raise, in term of profit. I think goats and pig are the best, but should i wait until the mermaid update ? I don't want spoilers, just to know if there is better animals in it.

Different animals unlock at different town ranks, so you should take that into consideration. New animals are unlocked at rank B and A
