I heard on reddit that the new Fall update will require a new save? I know the game is still in early access, so i'm wondering if we lose progress in any way as it develops?

beta testers were asked to use a new save file but when this goes live you will NOT need a new save

Jumping in to add:
The devs have said that if they need to do the NG+ style reset, they'll let us know in advance, but you'll still keep your masteries, inventory, farm layout etc so not a completely new save even if that happens
