Recipes?

This might be a dumb question but I've having trouble finding clarification on this. Can we only get recipes through NPCs? Like, if we have a cooking utensil and certain ingredients, can we "discover" some recipes that don't require needing a certain amount of hearts for some NPCs? Thanksss!

The wiki is up to date for cooking for the live branch- yes there's stuff to make that the NPCs can't teach you

is there a trick to making the vegan tacos? I've followed the steps, tortilla, veg and kiracha sauce and all i get is black food that goes into the garbage. I think I've made the tortillas out of every grain, and I think I've gone through all the vegs. Any ideas?

Tortilla & kiracha sauce both need to be base version only, any quality on them and it’ll fail (reported as bug rn in beta)
