So I'm currently playing a save that was created before the festivals were implemented. Looking at the wiki, if you attend the festival for four years, the forest becomes lush. I am in summer year 2. The first day I played since the festivals were added was Spring 28 year 2.
Does it just register as not attended, for festivals that are currently in game, for seasons played prior to them being added?
Hope my question is clear.....
Basically, to get the lush forest, will I have to attend the festival for the next 4 years, or just the next 2?

The festival setdress progress only if you attend, so which ever years you attend and participate, after 4 it’ll complete & then the day coverts to a picnic in the forest you work to restore 🙂

you have to do 4 years but they do not have to be in a row
so you can go year 2, year 4, year 5, and year 6- and that counts as your 4 years
