I've been playing a bit over a week now. Even though I always make sure to sleep before logging off, the next time I log on I have to repeat actions I took the day before. It's so frustrating that sometimes I just close the game out instead of doing anything. I've come back to find seeds I bought disappeared, a quest I finished to craft something was back and showing incomplete, and more. Is there anything I can do other than sleep to ensure all of my activities are saved?

@dim raven You’re sleeping, it says saved, and then waking up the next day?
And logging out once it’s the next day?
And how are you closing the game?
Yes, I'm sleeping it says saved and then I usuall click on quit to desktop. Yesterday I clicked on return to title first, before quitting and still lost progress today.
And you’re waking up in game the next day yeah?
yep
Are you on game pass or steam?
steam
My first thing would be to verify files (let me know if you don’t know how)
Test it
If it still isn’t working, this def needs to go into #1105382785826443264
Include every from there including that you’re on steam and your version number (which is bottom right corner or on the main screen)
I haven’t seen/heard of anyone having this issue which is why I am thinking the verify files should be first
I don't know how to verify files
When you close out of the game, go to steam, then your library, right click CI, properties, there’s a pop up, click files, then click verify integrity
I do it twice to feel safe. You don’t have to
After you verify if you’re still having problems though, please report that.
I closed out, verified the files twice, logged back into the game. A couple things I did before I logged out have reset, but I didn't sleep before logging out this time.
Ok. I would say complete a day, close out, load back in and see what happens
Go from there if it’s a bug report or if steam is a butthead. Hopefully it was just steam being a butthead
If the day is reset again, you’ll definitely need to report it though 😦
Okay, I'll do that. Thanks for the help
