In current update, we have some new things to craft that totally help us, such as traps, decoy, etc. I was wondering if these kind of stuff also will impact to our level. Maybe someone have ever experiment this, I’d like to know.
For example, insect trap, does it increase our catching level or no? Or spike trap that help us during combat, does it increase our combat level etc etc. Do stuff like this just helping us achieve something (for collecting)? So, increasing levels totally out of a question. Thanks in advance.

Insect traps when we collect the bugs yes we gain xp
I haven’t confirmed but I’d assume the combat items are a no, as it is killing monsters that gains us the xp & iirc most traps won’t end up killing anything (unless you get lucky with them maybe?)
