So, I was diving and came across the first chest that has the kelp food in it, and I opened it AT midnight.... It pulled me from the sea, and i had the kelp food stuck in my hand and couldn't dash.... So I made it back to my farm in time to drop some stuff off in the chest before bed, and I wasn't able to interact with anything and the kelp food was still stuck in my hand. So I went to leave feedback so yall could see what was going on (kelp in hand with something else selected) and once I got to the "Feedback Submitted" page, it insta froze on me.... and I ended up getting a full crash....

Mostly sad I lost all my progress in the sea, but yeah. Opening a chest when it's midnight will cause BIG issues it seems.

I had a similar issue that I forgot to report! I believe I was using a bug net to catch something EXACTLY as it kicked me out of the ocean and was stuck with that tool in my hand no matter what I switched to. Switching to a different tool and using it acted like it was the net and showed the net animation. I kept trying to fix it somehow, and eventually, I got locked into one spot and couldn’t even move. I had to wait until the day was forced to end and save, and the game crashed.

Hi guys! we have received report that doing some actions while being kicked out from diving might cause such bugs you're encountering. We're still working to fix this problem as we speak 😄

Also learned (the hard way) that if you're eating during the diving kick out, it locks your bars up too.... I passed out, hoping it would auto go for me, and I got the "new day" screen with my sale list, but I've been stuck on the "saving" screen for a few mins. Scared if I close while saving it'll curropt the save file 😭

oh no! can you tell me more about what happened? 😦 were you unable to press anything on the saving screen? what bars got locked up when you were kicked out? do you immediately get sent to save screen/end of the day screen after being kicked out from diving?

Just logged back in after I gave up last night on the save screen, here's what happened -

I didn't see the time, cause the robot (forgot the name of mr. beep boop) was telling me low stamina instead of warning me we'd be leaving soon (I never watch the clock when diving lol, you'd think I would've learned the first bug) so I was trying to eat a tomato (dk if the specific would matter, so I specified lol) and AS I went to take the bite after confirming to eat it, Mr. Beep Boop pulled me out to the dock. My hands were holding the item still, albeit empty hands even tho I had more tomatos in the hot key slot, but it was still selected on the bar but nothing in my hands. I realized as soon as I tried to dash (spacebar) that I couldn't and thats when I knew I was locked up (same thing that happened with the chest). So I ran to the fast travel beacon, and tried to select it to no avail. Also couldn't select anything on my hot bar using the mouse, key buttons, or scroll wheel. Decided to let myself pass out, went to the sales screen for what was in the box, and went to the saving screen it goes to after the sale screen. It was stuck there for about 20 mins before I caved and alt+f4'd it. Finally loading in today, expected to lose all that progress..... BUT it loaded me into the next day (I'm pretty sure.... When I originally started this, I was confident it was the next day, but now I'm questioning if it is or if I just restarted that day over again. I have no way to verify which day it was, either LOL. So idk if it reverted me or if it saved and went to the next day. I did get a letter stating that I passed out, but I can't remember if I did that the day before also or not)

I legit took a screen shot of it last night before I passed out, showing the empty hands and such, but I forgot to post it anywhere before losing it 😭 so I have nothing besides my garbage memory to try to note what happened LOL

I really feel like it did actually save me to the next day, cause I'm pretty sure that I am at the spot where I HAVE to clear trash before i can access more creeping vines, which is what I did before logging last night, so I'm pretty sure it did save me and take me to the next day
