I purchased my house upgrade yesterday, and dinda told me that she'd start working on it today. when i walked out of the house this morning, there was a cutscene with yuri. it's now nearly noon, and i've been off my lot a couple times. still no building has happened. do they just start later, or did the cutscene bork the upgrade?
edit: nevermind - it did finally happen - woke up the morning of the third day to an upgraded house

it's now nearly the end of the second day after purchasing the upgrade, and nothing about my house (interior or exterior) has changed

I think it takes a couple of days. Check when you wake up. I remember being surprised.

So you look good. But for info purposes- If this is the kitchen upgrade- no cut scene. Just 3 days later it'll tell you your house is bigger and that's it
