hi! i bought this game when it came out and i played it for around 15/20-ish hours, but only completed the first season (spring?) and i was wondering if there had been any major/interesting changes so that i should start a new gameplay or if i should continue my previous one? thank u :)

You can continue with previous saves, although there have indeed been many changes since EA first released in oct 2022
our next major update is in August, I would def recommend a new file when v0.5 releases, but for now you could play your old one (or just start fresh now but I plan to start a new file in August to go alongisde my current main file)
