Was wondering if I were to buy the game on steam, do I have access to new content? I thought they mentioned if you bought it on steam you could play test their content early.

It’s before each update so far. There isn’t one active right now, but there’s one anticipated for the merfolk update. We don’t have any dates on when that will open, but it’s announced here with the beta code to gain access when open
