The lab upgrade feature is pretty cool.

but,
I love collecting all qualities of items,
I can't find a way to downgrade once upgraded.
You can also increase the quality of your crops with fertilizer without upgrading them.
Once the quality of animal products is raised, it cannot be lowered.

There may not be many players like me, but please, can you add a way to downgrade?

and
When the animal's ♡ goes up, I can't find a way to lower it.
Once you can get large milk and eggs, you can't get normal size milk and eggs.
Attacking with an ax or pickaxe, or grazing on a rainy day will not reduce the ♡, so you will not be able to obtain normal size products unless you sell the animal and buy a new one.

It's an important issue for item collectors.
I would appreciate it if you could give me a solution.

For the animal products, you can get the regular size with selling them and buy them again and maintain to have under 5 hearts relationships
Above 5 hearts = large size
Below 5 hearts = regular size
If you want to keep your livestock to produce regular size, better to not pet them then. (But i’ve seen a case, there’s a player that have pigs and want to keep them to produce black truffle, that player never pet them but for some reasons the relationship with that pigs still growing and ended up having white truffles. So idk for this kind of case. All i know is, if you pet them, it will increase the relationship, but giving them food (hay or grass starters) just make sure that they will produce something for you to next day and make their mood happy). Correct me if I’m wrong

But yes for the quality issues both dairy and crops hmm if you already upgraded them it’s a bit hard to get the ordinary quality. But for some reason the RNG can still give you ordinary quality. I have silver quality in the lab for crops, and if i plant 32 crops (same seeds) without fertilizer, i still can get the ordinary quality but maybe just 1-5 only. And yea this lowering quality products seems not available in the game i guess please correct me if I’m wrong because i’ve never seen a feature to downgrade quality. Maybe you can add this to #🤝coral-feedback

Do not pet the animals, do not put food in the feeding area, do not let them graze,
Still, animal ♡ goes up with nature.

I haven't had pigs yet, but to get truffles you have to graze them.
It is a difficult problem.

You're right, there's no way to reduce quality.
I'm sorry, but I have no choice but to give up.
