#coral dlc

Yeah, I'd like to know, too. I know all proceeds are going to charity, but it's always worrisome when a studio is adding DLC before the full game is finished
I hope this isn't just opening a door to for-profit, pre-release DLC
Iām just curious what the DLC is
I've got questions as well, this doesn't really do anything but link a charity site. How do we get the DLC? Do we donate directly to the site or are we purchasing something from Steam? If we're donating to the site, how are we notifying Stairway Games of our support to get the DLC? I'm all for saving the reefs but that announcement had a spectacular lack of info.
All great questions
Agreed. Came here because I saw the announcement and was like are they really putting out paid DLC before the game is even finished⦠š¬
It won't be available til July 11, so I imagine we'll get more info closer to then, but since they're partnering with HumbleGames it's probably going to be purchased through that site. Humble does a lot of charity drives, and their process is really easy to follow.
I'm already dealing with Dreamlight Valley releasing DLC too early, and now this game? What happened to releasing a finished game with no bugs, first?
Eh, I think it's a bit early to worry. We don't really know what the DLC entails. And given that it's for charity, not profit, it seems more likely that this is just a way to partner with a really good, thematically appropriate charity while getting more eyes on the game as it approaches release
Finished game with no bugs? is that even a thing? even most finished games have bugs
Iām hoping personally itāll be more of a promise for a DLC that comes out after full release? But who knows
Also Iām assuming weāll get more information closer to July 11th, their starting date for the campaign

Thank you
I would bet they have to release it now because of contracts or something else that makes them have a sett time. originally it was pland that the game already had its full release. I am still not a fan of dlcs befor the full release.
honestly, that makes a lot of sense. I bet that's the case.
