For new updates what is reset and what is kept with saves

The latest update didn’t reset anything. You had to follow a path through the silver kelp area, but other than that everything was kept.
The devs have said if the update does cause a reset we should be able to keep our inventory - so anything on the farm, our money etc. but if this happens they will let us know.
