I unlocked the greenhouse and decided to fill it with fruit trees. So far I think I've planted 9, but it seems like 2 or 3 of them are not bearing fruit at all even after growing. I can't remember what I planted I just know the ones that aren't making fruit were planted in spring (though some of them planted in spring are growing fruit) The coral island wiki about fruit trees is extremely out of date with the info so I'm unsure how to figure out what I planted. Shouldn't there be a way to tell what something is?
#Is there a way to identify fruit trees?

They are fruit plants, which is why you might not be finding the info you are looking for. Their look is somewhat distinct for the most part.
I don’t think you can right click on them for info like you can for crops to ID.
I did some research and I'm pretty sure one is a snake fruit tree. The wiki says that despite being able to buy it the tree will disappear if planted but it's definitely grown, just no fruit.
That information was for .3
good to know. but does that mean it should be bearing fruit now? because it's definitely not
Snake fruit is a fruit plant. The classifications are a little confusing right now, but any saplings that will wither after 2 seasons are plants not trees.
For the snake fruit plant, the fruit will appear close to the ground and is a dark color so it’s often missed. The fruit will not be on the branches. Have you tried shaking it?
10 days to grow I think and then yes
I shake the tree every day when I check the others. they're planted pretty tightly together so I can't always see, so I shake them all to check daily. I planted it in the beginning of spring and it's now mid summer, never gotten anything from that tree.
Interesting. I have 2 snake fruit plants in my greenhouse and they’re both producing, so it sounds like you’ve hit a bug. So might be good to open a bug report. Try to grab some screenshots of the plant as part of the report.
Sorry to bug you again but I had a question about the picture for the bug report. It's really hard to see the tree (others in front of it) and it's not like a picture can show that it isn't growing fruit. You still think it would be helpful?
It would at least help confirm which fruit plant, even if difficult to see some details.
