Reproduction steps:
I am currently in Year 2, Summer 9. I try to go to bed and save, but the game crashes every time.
Repro Rate:
It happened twice, will try to just skip the day by immediately going to bed and see if it fixes things.

Skipping the day allowed me to save. I have a lot of coffers and fossils in my inventory when I try to save and it crashes.
Will try to see if putting the coffers in a chest as well as the fossils fixes anything.
My scythe is also enchanted to the max.

Thought it was the diving, but it didn't crash. Might be enchanting my tools?

@agile niche I think we have the same crash. I posted my crash report too. It could possibly relate to coffers and fossils, because on the day I crashed while saving, I did dig the beach for them as well. I also wonder if it's about too many stuff in the shipping bin. Hope the devs figures it out soon

I stopped crashing after the hotfix weirdly. I did a full day diving, digging and even enchanting my tools and didn't crash

I am still crashing upon saving. Getting pretty discouraged. I am not tech savvy so it's all a bit overwhelming.

This keeps happening to me, too, even after the updates — I actually didn’t have a single bug/crash until after the updates. Just a note for the admins - I do not have the diving quest fixed. I have no idea if this is related. Also, I have tried taking my save file and downgrading it to previous versions (which worked fine for me originally), but I still get the crash on previous versions. I also sometimes have crashes during the day, but they aren’t as consistent as the crashes when the game saves. I have noticed it is during certain events/times; like when it turns from daytime to dusk/sunset.
To those frustrated with these crashes: maybe just take a few deep breaths, close the game, and come back when it’s fixed. Playing the same day ad nauseam and hoping for different results will only make you more frustrated.
Thank you devs for your hard work and patience! I’m sure you’re getting lots of upset players and crash reports, but we only care because we love the game! Hope you all have had a great holiday.
