#Diving softlock?

I don't have the energy or time to restart my game to reproduce this for bug reports, but has anyone else been softlocked on the first diving quest?

I was doing the first diving quest, to activate 5 fire orbs and heal the coral, but i activated 2 of them moments before getting pulled out due to the time. Since the animations didn't have time to play out, now I am unable to finish the quest. The altars are all activated, I can't find any more fire orbs, and the obelisks aren't there to heal the coral either.

Is there a way to fix this? or should/can I just ignore diving for this playthrough?

Edit: I also wasn't able to find anything about this while searching

in theory the animation should just finish when you go back

that was the first thing i checked, went back down the next morning

cleared up most of the remaining garbage and nothing

but the altars are open? does it look like the corals are healed?

altars open, coral not healed apart from the ones that finished, and quest stuck

ok I loaded it up today and it updated a bit (was 4/5 for orbs and 3/5 for healed coral) and found 2 more altars i didnt before

I was under the assumption this was a small tutorial area that only had 5 altars

ok im still not getting the last solar orb though
