I can't find this but I am sure it been asked. When will be able to date a npc?

As far as I know there has never been any mention of dating being in a seperate update. They will probably implement all the relationship mechanics in one update.
But maybe someone else knows more 😊

It’s assumed that dating will be at 8 hearts, but it’s based on a old post and not sure we’ve heard anything concrete since then.

This is actually one of my feedback to the devs. There is no dating right now in the game. The “hearts events” seem to be more about the npc’s backstory than it is about you and them. The relationship aspect of the game is non existent right now. I really hope they add this soon so we can test it in early access.
