Taps disappeared after changing season

As the title suggests, this problem happened twice for me from spring to summer, and summer to fall. The taps in question were placed on trees found around the forest. Furthermore, I have no trees that I can tap in my farm so I have no idea if changing seasons affect them. Is this a bug or working as intended?

Hmm I have ever heard about this problem. I suggest you put tap on your trees inside your farm. Because if you put it on random trees outside your farm, you will have probability it will gone eventually

Thanks! I'll grow them and see if the taps disappears the same way as the forest trees

So far i put it onto my trees (inside my farm), it’s never gone

• if you put them on trees outside and chop down the tree, the taps keep floating in the air and you can't interact with them, and eventually they'll dissappear too
