I love, and reiterate, LOVE this new patch so no complaints here, just more seeking advice. I am trying so hard to level up my combat. But, after around 150-200 floors later of killing monsters i'm still level 3, literally. Am I missing anything that could assist with the speed in which combat mastery is obtained? I do what BOS quests I can (I know not all beasties are in the game yet). But not sure besides hackin' my little heart out if there's anything else to do?

Unfortunately not, at least for now it seems.

The only thing I have noticed is that exp gain seems to go faster if you farm harder mines. Idk if it's because monsters there give more exp., or simply because there are more of them, or some other reason, but somehow that seems to be case.

Ty Carthr. I started using Fire Mine for the xp grind. It's a bit quicker, but whew wipes brow its going to take a while to get to level 8. I have a feeling they are just getting started with the battle mechanics and we have a lot of good things in store, so maybe going slower isn't so bad. I just wanted the kelp for my sprinkler, lol.

I hope they are going to add something else to give us combat xp. I got my mining to max and my combat was still just under 3, which I think is odd because they are both activities done at the same time. I know you obviously do more mining but there are also significantly more nodes for mining available compared to mobs to fight, so the xp gain from mobs should be higher in my opinion
