#Ginseng Forest Hardwood Crash.

I’ve been dealing with one specific crash since I started the game. My game crashes when I hit the shop the hardwoods in the ginseng forest (where the graveyard is). It happens almost 8/10 times I chop hardwood over there.

Though it would be sorted after the summer update but it still happens. At this point I’m getting ptsd just passing by the area.. 🪵👀😭

Any fix or workaround this issue? 🤔

This happened to me just recently. It's my third crash collecting hardwood in that forest. Though, mine would often happen either a few hours of gameplay or when it's raining.

Passing by is fine as long as i don't collect hardwood. It could probably a memory spike that causes the crash (or graphical - not certain), but i think i would avoid frequently harvesting hardwood there for the time being. Give about five in-game days or so after harvesting hardwood and make sure to prep by sleeping/save before going for harvesting the next day.

Alrighty. This one rides in hot fast when i was testing it. The crash happened specifically when i dashed in that area (one in the BG), but when i walked around towards the mine, the crash didn't happen for me. I think it happens when i tried to go back to the farm via Giant's Village path or the graveyard after collecting hardwood.

After some testing, i found a way to grind hardwood crash-free for two weeks in-game. I'll leave this for the OP to try; see if it works.

  1. (To be safe) Avoid the specific area in that forest which cause the crash upon entering the forest.
  2. After harvesting hardwood, make the exit either through the Woodlands or the mines. Do not go the way you came in first (:If enter through the Giant's Village path)
  3. DON'T dash while making the exit.
  4. Once out of the ginseng forest, all is clear to dash on.

*Note: the crash seemingly surround on after harvesting hardwood. I suggest gathering other necessaries first before harvesting the hardwood.

To me, the crash area is always specific (the screenshot), so the crash location may be different for you. Hopefully this method works for the time being. Good luck
