Do i get the achievments on steam after the game comes out or do i have to start a new game?

I actually have achievements like- right now. They popped up on steam (In the beta vers)

That's strange. I checked the properties of my game and there is no beta participation available. Are you perhaps playing on a private beta?

The beta is open to anyone on the steam platform. You have to input the beta code to participate. Saves are separate between branches, so you will need to start a new save.

I'm playing on steam and I wasn't aware that there is a beta code. I'm 17 hours into the game so maybe I'd just wait for the achievements to become available everywhere. 😅 Thank you!
