Note the letter will read as though Jeff is giving you a blueprint to craft it

He is not. He gives you a barrel and the rest is WIP as barrel is a level 10 craft

is there any indication to check if thats done right? do i have to do it in steps as well? i sold way over 130 bronze crops, in bigger or smaller batches

i'll play around with a bunch of stuff and we'll see what happens- because that's the ONLY crops i sold was that 130

Im pretty sure i sold more than 130 bronze or higher crops. But wonder if flowers count though. If not, I may need to sell more as I usually put them in artisan stuff before selling.

Well I don’t know how to trigger this. Maybe Jeff is on vacation. I shipped lots for a few days in a row. Def more than 130 given that this is my 4th year on this save.

Okay so from what was tried we can use different items but they gotta be bronze. Send 20 crops, then 10 then 100. I’m already level 9 in farming. I have two questions do we have to ship each step on separate days or can it all be shipped at the same time? Also for shipping 100 bronze quality items. Can we mix and match or it has to be 100 of a specific bronze crop?

Third question are we supposed to get a letter from Jeff first before we start? I haven’t gotta a letter from any Jeff npc

Didn’t work ☹️. Currently in Year 2 Summer. Shipped 20 bronze avocados, then 10 hot peppers the following day, third day shipped 21 strawberries and 79 Cane Sugar. Next day nothing from Jeff. All items where crops and bronze. Did not ship anything else when crops where shipped.

Yeah I’ve def hit the bronze shipped levels and got nothing. Oh well. I will just finish up what else I can do on this character and go to my other one and hope I get the barrel on that one.

What can we do for bronze crops if we've already upgraded all of our seeds to silver quality?

I have sold way beyond that and am on level 9 farming to the max but still didn't get the letter. I did on my beta save though. I have started a new save to see if that will trigger it but will keep playing my main save too to see if it eventually comes through.

was reading this noting what i needed to do to get mine, load up the game and there it was in the mail! strange coincidence but yeah maybe just wait it out

Is the hot fix only on Steam and not Game Pass? I haven't seen an update at all and have even restarted my computer and checked for game updates several times. I don't have a letter with aging barrel yet, only one telling me to return back to work within the week or the senior manager says they'll seek compensation.

due to it being Xbox it has to pass their QA testing before it gets released. Due to it being a holiday weekend in the US it may not be available till Tuesday. But don't hold me to that, we may end up getting it this weekend. It's just how Xbox and PlayStation handle any form of updates/hotfixes they just have to go through the motions of being QA'd by their team.

So apparentky for the aging Barrel you can also ship crops of higher quality than bronze. I was saying all my bronze crops for the last 100, so definitely did not send more than 50 and I just reached farming level 8 and had the aging Barrel in my Mail

I still have have the "Local produce" quest active as I have so far only sold 45 bronze quality vegetables. And as far as I know that one also counts higher level produce. So I am really not sure how I have fulfilled the requirements for the aging barrel, but I received it

Only the second quest step included a rule for 'higher' in addition to 'bronze,' so I wasn't sure how to read 'em. :'D It's also the only one that doesn't specify crops. So... ¯_(ツ)_/¯

The fix looks like it's making the game check the third and fourth steps again for people that maybe triggered them out of order or bypassed those benchmarks before the quest was fully implemented or something.

Does the mailed barrel just come randomly? I have the one from completing the shipping quest, but I think it was mailed to me, so not sure, but I definitely only received 1
