Game Pass and Steam

Will it affect my saves if I continue to play my main game through Xbox Game Pass and then also purchase the game to play the betas on Steam?

Additionally, if I use WeMod on the steam beta, will it affect my main game save on Game Pass?

Save files are all stored independently (no cross saves)

You can’t access gamepass save files via steam
& you can’t access main branch save files from steam when in the beta branch
