So I got the game on steam cause its not available on nintendo switch yet I created a character but it's taking too long to load the game is this normal? I googled it and several people had this problem. Is there anything I can do?

Do you have an Integrated graphics card?
or is that a gaming laptop
if it's integrated you wont be able to run the game

I am not a tech expert on this but I play other games like the sims on this laptop and it runs without a single problem

yeah this game requires more power than sims
can you google will it run and click the top site- search for coral island and see what it says
i'm suspecting you have integrated as that keyboard doesn't look like a gaming laptop
and if it IS integrated you'll want to refund it because you will not be able to play this game.
if it's not integrated then your issues will be better with .4
