I believe I've cleared all of the shrines, but these roots are still present. I'm not sure whether this is just not implemented yet or if I'm missing something...in some of the maps I've seen there is another altar to the east of the two by the mermaid castle, but there's an invisible wall there that I assume marks the edge of the area
