is there any way to increase fishing ability other then the fishing skill picks which seem.....pretty minor? Ive tried doing some ocean fishing and i can never get my fish icon to move from the starting notch, ive spent 10+ min on one fish and it never even budges, it literally feels impossible. I must be missing something.

Fishing skill in combo with better rods is what we have to use
Some foods give a fishing buff but most of them wear off too quickly to make a difference

The improved rod is available to buy at beach shack immediately (same for net for bug catching)
Quality version will be available to buy once you get skill lvl 5
& once v0.4 releases ||master level is available to buy at skill level 9||
