If it’s the lower end steam deck, it can struggle. Sometimes changing settings helps.

I have the medium tier model, but I’ve tried it on low settings too and nothing. I got through once on medium but I had a typo in my farm name and haven’t been able to get through since, so idk what’s causing it really.

i did yeah, & i don’t think so, it isn’t giving me any cloud errors / conflicts. i might try pulling up the summer beta to see if that does something different honestly

So is there any point buying it at the moment? I also have the mid tier steam deck

It has worked fine for me, but it does consume battery pretty quickly. Some people have had issues since last update when starting a new save file. Hopefully optimization happens soon and performance improves.

I really wanna purchase but I’m a little hesitant now, am I better waiting for the current issues to be solved?

it can be a little buggy on the steam deck sometimes. I had my game crash near the end of the gameday but you can also play it on desktop mode and its less buggy

That’s really unfortunate to hear, this was one of the games that made me get a steam deck 😅

You can purchase now and wait for a more stable version, it’s pretty decent for early release, there’s just a chance of bugs etc.

Controller support is generally good as well, with the official layout working decently. It’s not as good as anything labeled as “great on deck” but it’s fairly good.

okay, after some tinkering, i got it working with the summer beta! I’m using Proton GE instead of the present one, and my graphics are set primarily to medium with textures on high and effects, view distance, and motion blur on low. there’s slight lag here and there but it seems to be working decently now.
