Balanced Body Mastery

Under the Catching mastery category, I selected the "Balanced Body" skill that increases movement speed while holding a net. (by 50%)

While I have the "Basic bug net" selected in my toolbar, my farmer still runs at the same speed. Is this unintentional or do I need a different net?

Iirc it’s for when your are actively ‘holding’ the net via the crouch/sneak function

So left clicking with net held up by player ready to swing
