I've been savescumming on the 7th of fall (4th year), for almost 2 hours, still no luck. any suggestion?

luke and randy is 5 and 6 hearts with me at the moment.

red arowana is achievable, white truffle oil and vinyl record require alot of savescumming (again), and purple crystal is imposibru better wait for the next mining updates 😭🥲😅

after hearing about your success, I decided to go for it on my day off work. Currently 12 hours into resetting days (off and on) with no luck. So frustrated, I am determined to get it now. RAGE!

I have a tip for you. start save scumming on the 7th of fall. give it 10 reset per day, if no luck, go on the 8th. reset 10 times per day. then continue.

I got 2 times, one apple on 10th of fall, and apple pie on 22nd of fall.

if you've tried hours without luck that means it's not there, try resetting another date. @mint ledge

it's better if you do it on the 2nd week of fall.
I tried savescumming like 3 hours on the 22nd of fall 3rd year, no luck. and I got apple pie from luke 22nd of fall 4th year without even trying.

but I recommend trying it on the 2nd week of fall.

Awe, thought that alter would put me into an 'A' town rank. Currently at 94/100.

agreeing with what @broken onyx said, because I did something similar. some days i just kept getting same old stuff from same old person, then i'd just go 'fine' and move on to the next day

1 altar gives you 7 point. completing insects/artifacts/fishes also gives you 7 point. again, if completed.

I am a total newb. What is savescumming? I assume it’s loading a day checking and reloading g without sleeping right? How do you know/check to know to reload?

During fall, reload your day if you have mail, but when you check you don’t get the apple (Randy) or apple pie (luke)

After x reloads, just move on to next day until you get mail again - seems from above that most reload the day up to 10 or so times before moving on

yes, completing bee's answer, start savescumming at the 7th of fall (2nd week of fall) then continue to another date if you haven't got it for 10 times reset.

it's the only way we got apple pie/apple for the sesajen, thru mail or gifts! make sure you're in hearts 5 with luke and randy before savescuming.
because apple pie is not sold in any food stalls and the fruit trees aren't implemented yet.

have been reloading saves finally got an apple BUT tried to make pie with apple, wheat flour, large butter and honey and... got a failed food. used oven. is it not possible to make it without a recipe?

You shouldn’t need a recipe, but there have been issues with butter. Osmium butter doesn’t work, not sure if goat butter works. So might need to try at start of day and restart if butter is rejected
