"Meet at the beach" Letter

Anyone else get a letter in the mail saying to meet at the beach west of the diving spot at 6pm? I did what it said but couldn't get an event to trigger. Just wondering if I'm doing something wrong or if this isn't in the game yet 🙂

I also missed the event (I was late by 20 mins) but I went back several days later and the scene triggered.
