So I finally got the green house and don’t know what would be the best way to set it up so far. Should it be used for trees/special plants ? A specific fruit or vegetable? What is your layout to make the best profit in the game basically.

i heard from some players that the best crops for greenhouse are strawberries and sugarcane. i personally just planted some of regrows crops like strawberries, pumpkin, grape, etc. and i also planted all the fruit plants inside my greenhouse. i look forward to hear about this from other players also regarding the best plants for greenhouse

The one thing to be aware of with strawberries is that they can form mega crops which then need to be destroyed to be harvested. It's why I tend to go with sugarcane. Also it regrows every day, so I just harvest it when I'm doing my daily farm rounds anyway.

I plant both, as long as strawberries aren’t 3x3 they won’t go giant so I plant 2 rows strawberry 2 rows sugarcane alternating to prevent it.

I agree - early game do both because sugar cane gives you daily income, and strawberry is good money in a mason jar and keg.
