hey! I've been playing coral island a lot and I'm starting to wonder if it would be good to ask the team to implement compatibility between old saves and the new updates. Starting over is fun but I've been playing since day 1 alpha and I feel a little burnt out. I don't know if anyone else shares this feeling. lmk :)

I've been able to use my early access save so far with some new save files scattered for testing
They did say they were gonna try to implement the NG+ style if we have to reset though

No.
Ideally, we keep our saves intact. However, in the event of a reset, it will function in a New Game+ fashion:
We will keep: farm layout, inventory, money, skill mastery levels
We will lose: storyline progress and be returned to Y1 Spring 1. This would include losing altar and museum donations.
If this is slated to happen we'll be told in advance.

I wish we could choose if possible. I would love to keep farm layout , inventory and money but start all over again.
Clearing the farm all over again for the 4th or 5th time is suuuuper boring and frustating. 😅 but i dont mind to start new with everything else to see all the new updates 🥰
