I'm a champ at catching almost all the insects, but I can't even find a Rove beetle. I spend every night between the winery and the flower walkway. I've used the insect spray B and still nothing.
Any ideas? Do you move continually while searching or do you stay in one place and wait for the insects to come out?

Personally I check their area once during the timeframe they can spawn. Took me about 1,5 month to find it that way, I guess you just have to get lucky.
Maybe, if you really want to get it before moving onto the next year, you could reset the day instead of sleeping until you get it. Though I’m admittedly not sure if bug spawns stay consistent through that or change with every attempt, I’d test that first obviously
(And yes this method kinda sucks because it only spawns at night, you could be playing through the same day for a long time.)
