Titan Arum and others

Hi, So I was wondering if I'm just that unlucky or if it's a bug. I'm in year 2, fall and have found only one titan arum( the 1st) and its the 15th already.
Year one u had a dozen (minimum).
Is there a internal logic ?

in any of my files (4 total) i've only found a max of 2 per year

It is much rarer these days. So usually I’ve seen 2-5 each fall. Similar #s for raffelsia also.

no wonder why, i feel like i saw titan or raflesia just one in each season (fall and winter), usually can spawn at least 2

Had the same problem. Read somewhere that there should be loads of the titan amrum in fall and that turning it into honey was an easy way to make money. Also you need it for an altar.
But I only found exactly one throughout the whole season, even though I searched every day...

I remember finding one almost everyday before the first feedback update. Now it’s probably 2 per season.

I think after 0.1 or maybe midway through 0.2 they did limit the spawn rate

Limiting and balancing is all fine and understandable, but I really hope they bring another little update soon to fix stuff like this. There's a difference between 'challenging' and 'almost impossible' 🫣

I got plenty recently. My tip you need to clear the area to give it more chance to spawn. If the area is filled with other scavengable and reach the spawn limit for the area, it wont spawn

I did that ! The morning after taking care of the farm and little babies I go in the forest and usually pick up everything I find

I would understand limiting, but its less fun, that way. Like one every two/ three day way not, you could still make honey and survive winter

Maybe it's with the update

I got quite a lot titan arum after the update, quite a lot is 5 ish a month. Cherry on the other hand is only 2

i guess i already did lot of (or not much) scavenging but still low rare flowers for me, and i noticed it after the update. even cherry, so far, i just have one in my inventory and i keep getting the tea berry, as in, tons of them. or do i have to scavenging every day to increase probability to get more rare flowers? i need more of those rare flowers haha

cherry is spring only i believe, tea berry is winter? unless you're in spring and still getting tea berries

i just only have one 🥲 for like 3 years time in the game, and about to reach year 4

Cherry, titan arum, raffles, are rare ones

I think eggplant may be rare as well

ginger is in the mines only as far as I can tell, my best guess is that it's going to be implemented in some place we can't access yet (like how shiitake and morel are sometimes in the mines but you can get them elsewhere in spring)

As ginger is not even officially in the scavengeables list in the journal yet

I always find a new spawn of titun arum and rafflesia 'every time' after I processed it into honey and sold it away. It's either having that logic or the spawn cool down happen to match with the honey process. (I remember a youtuber mentioning the first one though)

Clearing trees in the forest would make it easier to find according to above comments. I found my first one hid behind a tree.
