Please…. I’ve spent like half my in game time in the mines at the very least and haven’t had any luck. I’ve tried 5, 15, 25, and 31-40 in every mine.

Water mine, below floor 25 seems to have a better chance of gem nodes. Only option for now is to keep trying for gem nodes.

I think better to scum save opening the mystery geode (you need to collect a handful of it, then do the scum save as it will take quite a wile)

I’ve been told that the don’t actually drop from mystery geodes. I’ve opened hundreds if not thousands of them and have reset days in attempt to get it through them

Some of the ones I had saved before update but opened later had it. Wonder if it’s a bug others encountered too.
It’s now water gem node and fire geode only from what I’ve read

so the word right now is - it's purple nodes in any mine. someone found it in the wind mine since the update. that's going to be your only place though is those purple nodes

Oh wow…time to make more explosives! Gem nodes are rare but to find a purple one! I hope they balance things out better

I really hope they up the spawn rate of gem nodes. I have seen exactly 9 since the update. 1 yellow, 2 blue, and 6 pink…. And I spent most of today hunting for them

so the quartz is more grey vs the actual purple you need. i know it's rare but i got one today out of a node 😦 keep trying 😦

I def saw a purple light purple and it was a beryl I think or quartz. Maybe it’s a dark purple. Guess I’ll keep looking or wait until summer update in hopes we get better balancing.

light purple is actually grey and that will almost always be quarts. the purple is a purple. like you can't miss that it's purple
