Hi any tips on catching this one? I tried let it walking towards me and even used bug scent but it always ran away as soon as it's in my radar

I did catch few of them before the Spring update tho but it's obviously harder now

What net do you have and which scent did you use?

I’ve always been a dash and toss the net type, I approach from the side instead of back and make a run to it. Bug behavior is a little different since the update

What about rushing it from the front?

Some people also forgot that mastery was reset, did you allocate skill points? Just another thing to check

Try catching them on rainy days

Rushing it from the front was failed. For mastery I haven't choose Scent Duration and Quality Catch

Now I'm trying to catch it on a rainy day, guess I'll reset the day until I succeded lol

The beetles at lookout area on rainy day seem to be easier for me to catch. I caught 2 (both for altar and museum) at lookout area on rainy day. Not sure if it will vary for you, but hope it helps.

So for me I've found prepping the net and walking toward each other works the best. Tiger beetles got a friggin speed boost though and I haven't been able to catch them either since the update.

I DID IT holdup

It was stormy and I happened to ran towards it. Didn't use any buff or scent btw. Idk if it's bugged but it just didn't move at all
