Giants

I just started playing again after the update, I was trying to find the giants village and saw you have to free giants. I already completed the earth and water mining shafts but the things at the bottom are not glowing for me to free them. I also have not gotten any prompts for a quest from the chieftain. I am not sure if I am missing something or if my game is bugged since I already completed all of this prior to the update. Any input is helpful, thank you in advance!

Hmmm

The trigger for chieftain to start the mine quest line for giants is linked with you completing the starter quest at the lake temple

So provided that is done, all you should need to do is visit the liens again & it should all trigger

I tried going to the cavern, interacting with the things at level 40 in the mines, went to the lake temple and even completed some offerings and nothing has popped up for me. I am hoping it is not a situation where I have to reset and do a new game

Odd, bc all my old files when playing update just walking into the main entrance of mines triggered the quest line for me

The lvl 40 stone things won’t interact unless you have the applicable ‘free giant’ quest in your quest log

It is always possible something just didn’t sync properly when game updated (which is why devs/official communication is always said they recommend playing a new file after the updates)

Someone else may know something more for the quest line that I don’t tho?

I feel silly lol when i went to play it there was a update screen so I thought it updated the game but it must of updated my steam and will usually alert me that I have a update waiting for a game but for some reason it didn't this time so it wasn't updated. I feel dumb
