I have been regularly looking for them because it is one of the critters I need to donate but they are not to be found. I know the hermit crab moved to a different location from where they used to be. I am wondering if these did too and if so where? Or did they just quit spawning? Or am I just living a cursed RNG life with these?

Most of them spawn after 6pm and at 20m or below

So they are night now and lower down then? They used to be 10-20m and all day.

Before the spawns for ocean critters didn’t match to the in game tip info you get via the TV

Now it’s adjusted so that the TV tips are accurate to the spawn conditions / locations
