I got down to 40 in the earth mine I believe, first one from left. But I haven't met any giants or be able to give them gifts. Is there an event I haven't triggered?

and opened up the giant's village?

If my memory serves, I definitely freed them and saw the cutscenes which was how I got to the third mine. Could you remind me which ones are the giants village?

Do you remember the area where you first meet the Chieftain, with the waypoint? There were tons of roots to the left blocking the way. Once you free the first giant, they ask you to go to the village (which you cannot access)
The next day, you'll get a mail telling you to go there and they open it for you (the tree roots retreat)

I can access that area on the left of my farm, but after I met the chieftain there was really no other activity there. Pretty sure I didn't get a mail regarding any of that either

I currently have the earth giant quest. I have never had the water or wind giant quests.

Because, and this is just my theory, your quests might be stuck in that phase so the wind giant thing isn't triggering
Ah. Hmmmmmmmm.
Just throwing stuff at the wall here - try activating the earth mine one again to see if it works? Then try revisiting the Giants' Village waypoint (if you have two freed, then you should be able to teleport there directly - if you can't, then you're missing one from either earth or water)
cos, from my very amateur pov, it looks like yours is stuck at unlocking the village proper
if nothing else works then my apologies friend, you'll prob have to hand it to the bugs channel, but I hope it unsticks something for you ;;

I have a feeling you might be right cause all the roots are still there. Crap, I think I might have just been missing an entire chunk of the story line 😆 thanks for the assist, my friend. Could you name the mines from left to right for me?

I finally freed all the giants and gained access into the giants village! It was great to do it all at once haha thanks much again 🧡🧡
