Mushroom Log

Hi all, I have a question about the new mushroom log that was introduced in the new spring update. After it's crafted, what do we need to do to make them work? It says that they'll grow after some time but do we require seeds (spores?) to grow them? I've tried shoving just about all the items I could think of into them but no dice. Granted it's only been about ~5 in game days.

It’ll duplicate mushrooms for you over a few days (quality is not tracked with mushroom logs rn sadly)

So a shitake, matsutake, morel etc put in & get 2 back later

It’s description def does NOT indicate to place a mushroom - upon reading it my original assumption was ‘place & wait’ 😅

You place 1 mushroom, get 2 out of it. Rinse and repeat

Super belated but I found out today that one mushroom actually makes 3 if you leave it long enough!

Yep, think I worded it a little odd, but you get 2 for the one you place so 3 total. 3rd just needs an extra day. The timers on them are buggy, so lots of confusion because of that.

Hi there; The one piece of information I am noy getting out of all that are giving is which log? I know there is one in the area right beside the cavern that seems to almost lend itself, but could you please be just a bit more specific if you would, sorry I'm just not all the way there. mushroom log is a craftable item you unlock via your foraging skill 🙂
