I'm really pissy quite frankly. I know there's a few of us who aren't able to play the game now due to the "E_Invalidarg" error. I have done everything possible from my end to fix the issue from uninstalling/reinstalling, clearing and cleaning my desk drive and booting my computer numerous times but it's still not allowing CI to run with the update. I think it's quite unfair to those of us with this issue.

im having the exact same crash but then an error code comes up. i have an older pc but the cpu is still fine, i know its early and hopefully it wont happen in a few days - maybe though, because the servers are overwhelemed? i dont know but its making me sad and i cant do anything

Exactly, I was upset at first but then I tried all the trouble shooting and it's still not working. My computer isn't old, the CPU isn't old either since it is a requirement to keep it all up to date for my employer. All my other games run without any issue and I have about 10 other games on this computer, plus working with the same computer. So, it's a beast of a machine but I'm more pissed because all this hype about the update comes out and yet, we're left out of it because of errors.

Im pissed as well, seeing friends able to open it but their PCs arent any worse or better than mine? im cleaning up my whole PC and its not doing anything. Still crashes. everything else is ok except CI

It's entirely possible we will begin to see info coming from devs, at time of update release it was midnight for where devs/stairway is based, but it is/will be workday shortly now so things will be looked at
they cant communicate when theyre asleep, & main team is in Indonesia so that timezone difference needs to be considered

the voice of reason when my mind needed one, thank you. you're absolutely right. I just got annoyed and then frustrated which turned into getting pissy about the entire thing. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they do fix this
