I had backed the game originally so I had it since Alpha but have since had a baby irl so I don’t have as much time and want to take my time in a game, should I wait until official release to do a full playthrough (play last year 1)? I know that all the heart events and marriage/kids aren’t in yet so idk if I should just wait until then. Is there enough in the game past year 1 for me to stay interested rn? It depends on how you play tbh. Personally I'm on fall year 1 and feel like I've already hit a roadblock in progressing and don't have anything to work towards except decorating and the museum. But I have played 700hours of Stardew and many farming games so I tend to progress quickly. If you take your time to explore and go slow, there's probably plenty to keep you occupied a few in game years before you get bored
