Hi everyone, I lost my saved data after I installed the game in a new laptop and I can't access my old file because it's passed to someone (I also reinstalled the OS).

Has anyone experienced this and have a solution for this? Thanks in advance!

Did you have cloud save set up? That's the only way to keep your save data

How do you do that? Because i lost my save file after the update (with the code)

You had to set it up while your save was still there, but it's Steam > Settings > Cloud > Enable Steam Cloud Synchronization for Applications Which Support It

Or individual look at the properties of the game on Steam and enable it

I think gamepass does it automatically

It could also be that your save got corrupted with the update

But yeah if you didn't have cloud save set up there's no way to get it back and if it got corrupted there's no chance either

Looks like my steam already have cloud save automatically and its sync but still cant find my save weird enough 🤔 but i think because of the beta update code

Oh wait you're on beta? Beta uses a new save file, to start over. if you change back to main you'll have your savefile

If you look at the instructions at the announcement of the beta it says so, and I imagine it doesn't use cloudsave cause it's not meant to be a permanent save
