I've just returned to my non-Beta save file to play, and I cannot remember how to milk my cows. I'm using a Nintendo Switch Pro controller and the official Stairway Games controller config, but no dice. I just keep endlessly petting the cows.
What am I doing wrong?

I dont remember off the top of my head but wanted to confirm you have the milk pail & it is the selected item in your tool bar?
if yes, it should be either A or B for you if I'm remembering the switch controller buttons correctly
