How do you get hard wood so you can upgrade your tools?

The bigger logs on your farm - drop a bomb on them or need gold axe
Normal trees get the low drop rate for it once you have that skill active
Wood trash (for me more so in silver kelp areas) can drop hardwood as well
Eventually you can also buy it from the carpenters - can’t remember when it shows up in the shop there tho

There is a bug that has removed logs from the farm if you did not get those before previous update and I think it is no longer for sale until rank B :/ I am just trying my hardest to get 6 bundles done so I can unlock the mid-forest area and slowly collect some

Rank B for buying hardwood.

Best way to get hardwood is to open new areas from completing altar bundles and using silver axe on the large logs in those areas.
