Hello... I'm starting up again after taking a couple weeks off. Currently I'm in late Spring of year one so I'm still figuring things out. I've built the extractor and created bronze essence. Ling has a dialog that comes up saying if I bring her "five bottles of the same kelp" (bottles implies essence, right?) she'll help me improve my crops. All the options in the shop menu at the machine where you also process fossils require 15 essence. I tried giving her a bottle but that ended up just being a gift. I think I'm missing something simple about this text, but I can't recall all the details from the cut scenes with her that I played weeks ago. Thank you!

NM, it's a typo/bug. The price of bronze upgrades were increased to 15 but Ling's dialogue has not yet been updated to reflect that. 👍
Haha now it's even more of a bummer that I gave her one! Spring is almost done and I don't have a bronze cucumber to unlock the turtle yet (I think I recall that's what it wanted.)
